It’s Fri-yay, and that means only one thing: the weekend time’s upon us once again! Since the weather’s turned heinously cold already in my neck of the woods, I think instead of the park by the pool, I’ll just hit up Wally World or the mall, and get my steps in that way. Besides, this air fryer I’ve been wanting forever in my favorite color’s now on sale, and I may get it. I’m also gonna devote some time to reclaiming a hobby that started while my mom was in hospice, and fell by the wayside after she died. This time, it’s for me, not for anyone else or cuz some rando told me to do it.
Otherwise, I got my other job this weekend for a few hours, cuz let’s be honest, your girl needs the money, haha. Now that the farmer’s market in my neighborhood’s over, there’s nothing to do anymore.
Maybe I oughta use this time to get back into the gym like I was doing before the pandemic started. I’ll have to explore that and see what’s out there.
Anyways, Jesus H. Christ on a school bus, this week was long. Like seriously, it dragged on by, but the good news is, it’s behind us now.
How bout you, readers? What’re your weekend plans? I’d love to hear all about it, so drop it all like it’s hawt, and let’s get this party started!
To ring in the weekend, I got us some links to talk about, share, what have you.
Now I know what I’m gonna do w/ those chia seeds I got in a jar knocking around in the pantry!
I also wanna make some sweet chili sauce, and maybe use it for my next batch of pizza.
I’m gonna use up some of the fabric in my late mom’s stash to do some shelf liners after I clean out some shelves.
Been down this road before, and it sucks. I also got a lot going on right now, so I’ll give these the ol college try.
A great post about upskilling w/ free courses.
All about brocade fabric. Today I learned, today I learned.
A list of gift ideas for gourmands. Like the teapot there, but it’s a shame it’s from Amazon, which I avoid when and where possible. If that’s the kind of teapot you like, I recommend any one of these from Teabloom instead. [Note: this is a sponsored link!] Love my Baggus from like 6 years ago, though!
It’s about time something was done about this, and while it’s a start, these are the colleges promising no student loan debt.
Last, but not least, a signal boost for a missing child. The last confirmed sighting of 13-year-old Braylen Thornton of South Bend, IN was on August 8th, 2023. No other info is listed in the poster. If you have any knowledge of his whereabouts after August 8th 2023, or if you see a child matching his description, make that call. Let’s get Braylen home safe to those who care about him!
