Kevin Oh, bb, it’s Fri-yay! That can only mean one thing: weekend time’s upon us once again. It’s hard to believe summer’s winding down. In just a couple weeks, I report back to my other job, and my summer job will no longer be my only means of living.
Good thing, really. It’s so unsustainable for the long haul.
I’ve been away on assignment at a location in a neighboring town, and it’s a 2 hour bus ride both ways. After what happened last year, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m there into next week. After that, I’ve got some big plans, and then it’s my other job, when I’ll be getting benefits and paid time off.
I never had any of this before.
My weekend plans will go one of two ways. It depends on the weather report, but beyond the farmer’s market and some errands I need to do, we’ll see. If the weather sucks, mall it is. If the weather’s decent, then pool it is. May as well take advantage of it before the end of the pool season.

Last but not least, a signal boost for a missing child. There’s an active AMBER Alert for 15-year-old Keshaun Williams of Cleveland, OH. The poster has his name spelled as Keshawn. The last confirmed sighting of Keshaun was on June 17th 2023 at a house party, and the poster states he was reported missing on June 23rd. According to the poster, the abductor is unknown, and the Jeep has temporary tags. My take on it is whoever was in that Jeep knew what they were doing w/ those temporary tags. If you see a child matching Keshaun’s description, know the driver of the Jeep, or know of Keshaun’s whereabouts after June 23rd, make that call. Let’s get Keshaun home safe to those who love him, and pronto.
