Oh, bb, it’s Fri-yay! That means only one thing: weekend time’s upon us once again, and now it’s time to talk weekend plans. For me, I’m glad this week’s over. It had it’s lows, but overall, I’m glad that 10 hours from now, this week’s gonna be in the books. My weekend plans will largely depend on the weather. If the weather gets decent, then I’m going to some old stomping grounds. If not, then I’m either going to the old mall, or to Wally World to take advantage of some Ibotta deals and get that back up and running after what happened.
My Ibotta goal is not only to get to where I was before, but supersede it. I’ve already made it back to the triple digits, so that’s something.
But anyways, ’nuff about me. How ’bout you, readers? What’re your weekend plans? Good, bad, both, or neither, I’d love to hear all about it, so drop it all like it’s hawt, and let’s get this party started!
To ring in the weekend, I got us some links to talk about, share, what have you.
Would love to try these nutella pops sometime. Before I lost the weight, it wasn’t outta the norm for me to eat a whole jar of nutella. When I was early on in the game, I learned that I absolutely can’t have it in the house w/o wanting to eat the whole damn jar, even if it was a big one normally found at like Sam’s Club or whatever. I’d like to try this one for sure.
This is why federal recognition is important for Native Nations, and why it matters. So far, there’s over 500 federally recognized Nations in what’s currently known as the U.S., and many others recognized at the state level.
Last, but never least, a signal boost for a missing child. The last confirmed sighting of 13-year-old Zyana Marie Gram of Baltimore, MD was on January 24th, 2024. According to the poster, she went missing in the Western District of Baltimore. She had on a long gray sweatshirt, black leggings, and pink and gray Nike Air Jordan sneakers. If anyone out there sees a child matching her description, or knows of her whereabouts, make that call. Let’s get Zyana home safe to those who love her!
On that note,
Keshaun Williams is still missing, and he’s listed on the AMBER Alert page again. I’m wondering if they reactivated the AMBER Alert, but either way, whoever knows where Keshaun’s at, you need to make that call and tell the cops everything you know. Keshaun needs to be at home safe w/ those who love him, yesterday.
I’ve started highlighting a long-term missing case, but this time, I’m calling out a long-term unidentified case. The remains of
Chaves Jane Doe 1990 were found by the Bob Crosby Bridge in Chaves, NM on August 27th, 1990. According to the poster, her estimated age range was between 18 and 22, and that her remains were found soon after her death. Based on the clothing description, maroon corduroys, pink t-shirt, pink shoes, and a red jacket, someone had to have seen her or remembered her. There’s also a possibility that she had at least one child before her murder. If anyone out there remembers someone matching this description, even after all these years, make that call. Jane meant something to someone, and she’s someone’s baby. Let’s get her surviving relatives the closure and answers they deserved all along.
