Happy Fri-yay the 13th, everyone! This can only mean one thing: weekend time’s upon us once again, and so it’s time to talk weekend plans. My weekend plans include a couple old stomping grounds if the weather gets better. Otherwise, I’ll probably be checking out some holiday markets going on, as well as maybe an event or two if I’m able to get in.
I’ll be devoting this weekend to forgetting this week ever happened. My schedule changed due to an emergency, and I spent the whole week ruminating and spiraling over it. All this, along w/ some jerk fuck trying to lure me into his car on my walk to my day job. He actually circled the block twice to eye-fuck me, and this was after I got pics of him in action.
But no worries, readers. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it won’t be the last.
In other news, my Christmas present came early, and I’m happy w/ that. I’ll be putting up my tree this weekend, and getting some more cleaning done.
Anyways, ’nuff about me. How bout you, readers? What’re your weekend plans? Good, bad, both, neither, it’s cool w/ me. I’d still love to hear all about it, so drop it all like it’s hawt, and let’s get this party started!
To ring in the weekend, I got us some links to talk about, share, what have ya.
I’d love to try making these crockpot clusters sometime. Just hope my mom’s old crockpot still works!
It’s been 83 years since Pearl Harbor. There’s 16 survivors left, as of this post anyways, and they got stories to tell.
I wonder what it’s like to have a house custom built, after coming across this list of house plans. I like the Carolina Island house plan best, and it’d probably be the one to fit in the best in my neighborhood, out of that list.
I heard this top’s gone viral somewhere, and I can see why. Not a sponsored link, and ngl, I’d totally wear the gold one.
Just when I think ppl can’t be any shittier, this takes the cake. Running over someone over a bunch of holiday decorations, and then running off and hiding. How cruel and cowardly. I hope the judge throws the book at her.
One of the few pairs of Judy Garland’s red shoes from The Wizard of Oz fetched a huge price tag at auction, after having been stolen.
Last, but never least, a signal boost for a missing child. The last confirmed sighting of 16-year-old Adrianah Chenay Goffigan of Virginia Beach, VA was on December 12th, 2024. According to the poster, she has a medical condition that she needs medication for. She was also last seen wearing an oversized blue shirt. The poster also mentions that anyone who finds her should approach w/ caution.
Even though it’s a sad statistic to have to talk about, the odds of a child returning home diminish the longer they’re missing. However, it’s important to remember that this is just the general trend, and that there are always outliers. There’s always hope. This is why I’m highlighting a long-term missing case, and this time, let’s talk about Marlene Santana of New York, NY. The last confirmed sighting of Marlene was on October 21st, 1985. At the time of her disappearance, Marlene was a newborn, 3 days old. According to this website, someone abducted her at gunpoint when she and her mom were at the hospital. She also has a condition that made her feet appear in the shape of a C when viewed from the bottom, called metatarsis adductus. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this is a somewhat rare condition in babies, and they usually outgrow this. If not, this can be treated by casts and special footwear to help reshape the feet. It’s unclear if there are any photos of Marlene, and if there are, they haven’t been released to the public. The first photo of Marlene in the NCMEC poster is a composite sketch to show what she may have looked like at 2 years old, and the second one is an age-progressed photo to show what she may look like at 25 years old. There’s also a composite sketch of Marlene’s abductor, and the details about the abductor’s age are unclear. This year, Marlene turns 39.
If anyone out there has any knowledge of Adrianah’s whereabouts after December 12th 2024, or of Marlene’s whereabouts after October 21st, 1985, make that call. Let’s see what we can do to get their families the answers they’re looking for, and better yet, get em home safe to those who love em, pronto!
