The weekend docket

Hoo, boy, this week has been exhausting to say the least! We’re finally done with the move, and can now move forward with unpacking. Those are gonna be my weekend plans, along with picking up where I left off with this and my day job, since the weather’s gonna be mediocre at best. I’m paying the price physically for this whole thing, that’s for sure.

The flip side is that this will probably be what I needed to lose the last of this weight, haha.

What are your weekend plans? Drop ’em like they’re hot below, and let’s talk.

To ring in the weekend, here are some links to talk about in the comments, share with others, what have you.

In the world of hip-hop, DMX died. This was one of my favorite songs in middle school. JSYK, this is the uncensored version.

On a similar note, Prince Phillip died today. This post talks about the complicated legacy he left behind, specifically with some questionable (at best), if not outright shameful worldviews.

A grim behind-the-scenes piece about restaurant closures for those of us on the outside looking in.

A great post about the job landscape for recent culinary school graduates.

Hallmark’s Uplifted and Empowered line looks so cool. Next time I’m at the mall that still has the Hallmark store, I’m totally gonna be on the lookout for this.

What cool stuff here! This post talks about uplifting Asian designers and artisans, and this is a great way to do so.

Now that warmer weather’s upon us here in the Northern Hemisphere (mostly, haha), it’s the perfect time for a picnic.
